2025 Acura ADX

The all-new 2025 Acura ADX joins the brand's lineup as its subcompact crossover offering, anchoring Acura's utility vehicle range. Positioned below the compact RDX, the ADX brings Acura's precision crafted performance philosophy to the increasingly competitive small crossover segment. With seating for five passengers, the ADX maintains Acura's characteristic blend of athletic handling and refined comfort while supplying the practicality that today’s buyers demand. As the most affordable crossover in Acura's portfolio, the ADX is a gateway to the brand's premium offerings.

The ADX stands out with sharper driving dynamics, a lively turbocharged engine, and a more upscale interior. The exterior design incorporates Acura's signature diamond pentagon grille and Chicane lighting elements, creating a visual connection with its larger siblings. The cabin emphasizes technology and comfort with a driver-focused layout typical of Acura’s lineup. The ADX presents a clever combination of premium features, advanced safety technology, and everyday usability.

Trims and Powertrains

Acura offers the ADX in three trims: Base, A-Spec, and A-Spec Advance. Their power comes from a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine making 190 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) controls the standard front-wheel drivetrain (FWD) or optional all-wheel drivetrain (AWD). There is 24.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and 55.1 cubic feet behind the front row. According to the EPA’s official fuel economy estimations, the ADX returns 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway with FWD and 25 mpg city/30 mpg highway with AWD.

Standard Features

While the Base ADX kicks off the lineup, it’s hardly an entry-level vehicle going by its equipment. It boasts a power moonroof, a power tailgate, heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, Chicane LED headlights (automatic) and taillights, an eight-way power driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a four-mode dynamic driving system (Snow/Comfort/Normal/Sport). Acura also gives it proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, heated power side mirrors, a 10.2-inch driver information display, rear privacy glass, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear air-conditioning vents, two USB ports, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The A-Spec goes further upscale with a standard power panoramic moonroof, heated and ventilated front seats, leatherette and microsuede upholstery, a four-way power front passenger seat, LED fog lights, a leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel, unique interior and exterior accents, sport pedals, two second-row USB ports, wireless device charging, and 19-inch wheels. Building on these features is the A-Spec Advance, adding leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, a driver's memory system, a 12-way power driver's seat, power-folding side mirrors, a hands-free power tailgate, remote engine start, a five-mode dynamic driving system (it adds a setting called “Individual”), and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

All ADX trims have AcuraWatch with forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, pedestrian detection, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams. The A-Spec Advance also gets low-speed braking control and front and rear parking sensors. Every trim is equipped with an array of airbags, a rearview monitor, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and hill start assist.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The ADX’s infotainment system is built around a high-resolution 9-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and access to AcuraLink connected services. The Base and A-Spec have an eight-speaker audio system, which is upgraded to a Bang & Olufsen arrangement with 15 speakers in the A-Spec Advance.
