Technology

The entry-level Technology comes with a good supply of features designed to enhance comfort, convenience, and connectivity. Inside, you’ll find leather upholstery with distinctive contrast stitching, power-adjustable heated front sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 60/40-split folding rear seatback for added versatility. Dual-zone automatic climate control ensures everyone’s comfort, while proximity keyless entry and push-button ignition add everyday convenience. Additional interior highlights include brushed aluminum trim, an Individual drive mode selector, and 27-color ambient interior lighting. The exterior of the Technology makes quite the impression with a power moonroof, LED lighting elements (headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights), heated side mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down and LED turn indicators, and striking 19-inch alloy wheels.

As its name suggests, the Technology is packed with advanced features for connectivity and communication. The centerpiece is a 12.3-inch dual-content infotainment display featuring 3-D navigation, natural voice recognition, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM, HD Radio, and an ELS Studio premium audio system with 13 speakers. Additional tech amenities include a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless phone charging, active sound control, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, and three USB ports (one for data, two for charging). There’s also a 12-volt power outlet in the front center console.

To complete its well-rounded offerings, the Technology is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced safety and driver-assist technologies known as AcuraWatch. This robust package bundles forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams.

A-Spec

The A-Spec stands out with a performance-inspired design that blends luxury with athleticism. On the outside, it has exclusive A-Spec styling cues such as a gloss-black decklid spoiler and LED fog lights, giving it a more assertive and dynamic appearance. Meanwhile, the cabin flaunts leather- and Ultrasuede-trimmed sport seats with trim-specific piping and contrast stitching, heated and ventilated front seats, a flat-bottomed sport steering wheel, an ebony headliner, and geometric-patterned brushed aluminum trim. For audiophiles, the A-Spec takes entertainment to the next level with a top-quality ELS Studio 3D audio system with 17 speakers strategically placed throughout the cabin to surround it with sound.

Type S

Perched at the top of the TLX lineup, the Type S presents an attractive combination of sport performance and luxury. Engineered for driving enthusiasts, it’s distinguished by a high-performance chassis, an adaptive damper system, and Brembo brakes. It also gets an exclusive Sport+ drive mode that delivers sharper throttle response and more refined handling.

Visually, the Type S distinguishes itself with a unique Diamond Pentagon grille, a gloss-black front splitter and rear diffuser, and attention-getting quad exhaust finishers that signal its performance pedigree. It also adds a host of premium comfort and convenience features, such as sport front seats with thigh extension and power-adjustable bolsters, a 10.5-inch head-up display, a surround-view camera, head-up warning, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a windshield wiper de-icer, and power-folding side mirrors with LED puddle lights.
