The Cambridge Arts River Festival is one of the most popular celebrations of the arts in the Cambridge, Massachusetts community and throughout all of New England. Over 150,000 individuals attended this year's festival, which was held on June 2, 2018 in East Cambridge along the DCR Cambridge Parkway. Six stages were set-up at the Cambridge festival, featuring various musical, dance and theatrical acts. There was a poetry tent, huge wild-animal puppets and beatbox workshops. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the festival, which was sponsored by the Cambridge Arts Council and has been held on the Cambridge waterfront since it first started in 1983. For 35-years, the Cambridge River Arts Festival has also remained free to the public.
