Base

The amenities in the TLX Base are highlighted by LED headlights and taillights, a moonroof, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators and reverse gear tilt-down, a sound-absorbing windshield, 18-inch wheels, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, synthetic-leather sport seats (heated and power-adjustable in the front row), dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, and a 60/40-split folding rear seatback.

On the tech front, this trim receives a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a 12V power outlet, USB data and charging ports, and a 7-inch digital gauge cluster. It also gets an infotainment system with a 10.2-inch dual-content touchscreen, voice recognition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Siri Eyes Free, a 10-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth hands-free. The AcuraWatch bundle of active safety tech is standard as well, adding forward collision warning with collision mitigation braking and pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams.

Technology

The Technology trim is upgraded with perforated Milano-leather sport seats with contrast stitching, advanced GPS-linked climate control, 19-inch wheels, and an improved interior mood lighting system with 27 different color themes. Its multimedia system also gains 3D navigation and an ELS Studio sound system with 13 speakers. The driver-assist suite ramps things up with the addition of blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors.

A-Spec

The A-Spec has a more athletic vibe with its LED fog lights, gloss-black decklid spoiler, Milano-leather and Ultrasuede sport seats with piping (ventilated in the front row), a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and black headliner. The infotainment situation advances with wireless phone charging and a 17-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio setup.

Advance

The Advance goes without the A-Spec's sportier attributes (the decklid spoiler, Ultrasuede seating, flat-bottomed steering wheel, and black headliner), in favor of adaptive suspension dampers, LED puddle lights, rain-sensing wipers, a windshield wiper de-icer, power-folding side mirrors, front seats with power side bolsters and cushion extenders, a heated steering wheel, and heated rear outboard seats. This is also the only TLX trim that gets a surround-view monitor and a 15-inch head-up display.

Type S and Type S PMC Edition

The Type S makes a statement with its array of track-focused features, starting with Brembo front brakes, Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires, a gloss-black front splitter and rear diffuser, and quad exhaust outlets. It also boasts enhanced chassis bracing, an exclusive Sport+ drive mode, 20-inch wheels, a unique diamond pentagon grille, and the deluxe front seats with power side bolsters and cushion extenders.

The debuting Type S PMC Edition has Pirelli P-Zero summer tires on lightweight copper-finished wheels, carbon fiber and Berlina Black trim details, chrome exhaust tips, illuminated side sills with the Type S logo, special floor mats with Type S badges and colored accent bindings, and a special plaque with the individual car's serial number.
