A-Spec

The A-Spec has a medley of upscale features, such as leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats with driver’s position memory, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with regenerative braking paddle shifters, a panoramic moonroof, a power liftgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, LED lights (headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights), heated power-folding side mirrors with turn-signal indicators and reverse gear tilt-down, and rear privacy glass. Roof rails are included on versions with AWD.

The technology features consist of wireless phone charging, an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, ambient cabin lighting, and five USB ports, two of which are Type-C. The A-Spec’s sophisticated infotainment system is based on Google built-in and has an 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. The sound system is a Bang & Olufsen unit with 18 speakers.

The standard AcuraWatch safety suite bundles an array of advanced driving aids, including forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, reverse automatic braking, side blind-zone alert, blind-zone steering assist, lane change alert, rear cross-traffic braking, front and rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams.

Type S

The Type S heightens performance with an adaptive damper system and Brembo brakes; summer performance tires are optional. Its luxurious upgrades consist of tri-zone automatic climate control, front seats with power side bolsters and thigh extension, position memory for the front passenger’s seat, heated rear outboard seats, a hands-free liftgate, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display, and expanded ambient cabin lighting. It also gets a 110-volt power outlet, a gloss-black roof, and unique Type S logos.

The AcuraWatch 360+ suite (forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, reverse automatic braking, side blind-zone alert, blind-zone steering assist, lane change alert, rear cross-traffic braking, front and rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams) is standard as well. It’s upgraded in this trim with hands-free cruise control, a surround-view camera, automatic parking assist, additional parking sensors, and rear pedestrian alert.
